The project aimed at enhancing students, teachers and parents’ understanding on weight management and healthy diet as well as arousing students’ self confidence and interest in sports through organinzing physical fitness tests, talk on weight management for all students and talk on healthy diet for parents as well as organizing 12-lesson weight management course, 12-lesson sports activities course and 2-day camp for 40, 20 and 30 students respectively
The project aims at fostering the understanding of Basic Law and the relationship between Hong Kong and China among 340 students of the applicant school through enrichment in the Integrated Humanities curriculum of S1, organizing project enquiry activity and conducting the guided tour programme. A set of curriculum resource for S1 Integrated Humanities will be developed.
The project aims at enhancing 20 teachers' questioning techniques and developing 200 children's thinking and language skills through providing staff training and parent education activities.
The project aims at elevating students' self-care and self-learning abilities and their abilities to overcome adversity as well as building up students' positive values through developing school-based life education curriculum, cross curriculum project-based learning, organizing parent-child adventure activities, community service, award scheme, drama show, ambassador training and parents' workshop. The project will produce a teaching kit on life education. While students, parents and teachers of the applicant school will participate in the project activities, the teaching kit will be shared among schools under the same sponsoring body.
The project aims at developing the skills of appreciating and writing modern Chinese poems and short sentences with the infusion of drawing among 1,280 P4 students in 8 primary schools as well as fostering techniques in promoting poems writing among 48 Chinese Language teachers through talks, training workshops and organizing an exhibition of students' work. A publication of students' work and feedback from teachers, writers and artists will be produced in the project.
