The proposed project aims at developing a school-based STEAM curriculum to enhance students' interest in Innovative Science and fostering their creativity and problem-solving skills through STEAM-related learning activities.
The project aims at enhancing the junior secondary Home Economics curriculum, promoting a healthy diet culture and enhancing senior secondary school students' learning experience in hospitality and catering by upgrading the Home Economics Room and its equipment. 340 students and 60 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the project activities. The proposed project deliverables include learning and teaching resources and the upgraded Home Economics Room.
The project aims at nurturing students' creativity, problem solving and collaboration skills through developing the school-based STEM curriculum, cultivating students' interest in STEM-related subjects, designing project learning activities, providing opportunities to develop students' potential in STEM-related disciplines and enhancing teachers' competence in implementing STEM education.
The project aims at enhancing students' skills on problem solving and Information Technology (IT) through learning and teaching activities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in daily life. 300 students and 40 teachers from 12 collaborating schools will benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverables include learning and teaching resources, students' work and a website.
