The project aims at raising students' learning interests and catering for students' learning diversity through the development of school-based e-Learning materials for English Language (Eng) and Geography (Geog) at junior secondary level.
The project aims at enhancing students' national identity and nurturing responsible citizenship through organising visits to museums in Hong Kong and a 5-day study tour to Xian to understand Chinese culture and customs. The deliverables of the project will be the learning and teaching materials.
The project aims at cultivating the positive values of 580 P1-P6 students and promoting the awareness of environmental protection among students, parents and the community through setting up environmental facilities in school as well as organizing other related activities. The deliverables of the project are the (i) learning and teaching materials developed, (ii) a DVD, (iii) lesson plans, and (iv) the harvest.
The project aims at strengthening teacher-student interaction and enhancing junior secondary students' motivation in learning the English Language (Eng), Liberal Studies (LS) and Visual Arts (VA) through making use of mobile devices and e-Learning tools.
The project aims at enhancing about 20 South Asian Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students' learning of Chinese Language, promoting teachers' professional knowledge in teaching Chinese as a second language as well as enhancing NCS parents' understanding about Chinese Language learning through implementing the Chinese mentoring activities and parent-child reading programmme for NCS students as well as organising professional development workshops for teachers of the applicant school. The learning and teaching resource material, a glossary of Chinese and Urdu terms and at least 10 Chinese and South Asian Language bilingual story books will be produced in the project.
