The project aims at enhancing students' learning motivation and self-directed learning abilities through lesson study among 4 primary schools under Salvation Army for greater learning & teaching effectiveness, and establishing a platform for communication and information exchange, inter-school exchange & collaboration as well as sharing of good practices with other schools.
The project aims at nurturing students' problem solving skills, creativity and collaborative skills as well as promoting STEM education through incorporating robotic programming into S1 school-based Design and Technology (D&T) curriculum.
The proposed project aims at educating parents and teachers on how best to develop children's social competencies through playing face-to-face interactive games with them. The parent seminars and teacher workshops will benefit 600 parents and 100 teachers. The on-site support Social Emotional Learning programme will benefit 5 kindergartens, 250 children (K2/ K3) and their parents, teachers and principals. The social competency games resource pack will benefit about 115,000 kindergarten children and their teachers. The project deliverables include a Social Competencies Games Education resource pack with CD and a website with teaching and learning materials.
The project aims at developing innovative classroom strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of students' learning of healthy diet and nutrition related General Studies (GS) topics. Major deliverables are 300 copies of the “Yummy Classroom” teaching resources (with DVD) with no less than 15 learning modules; and an online version of “Yummy Classroom” teaching resources for free download on the applicant's website.
The proposed project aims at using “learning guide” and “flipped classroom” to promote self-directed learning and to enhance the learning and teaching of Science and Mathematics.
