The project aims at facilitating the whole-person development of the 200 pre-primary students of the applicant kindergarten through enhancing the teachers' understanding and capabilities in implementing Assessment for Learning in the school-based curriculum.「學習表現觀察表」and 「幼兒成長觀察表」 will be produced for each student as the tangible deliverable.
The project aims at developing the F.2 students' knowledge, values and ability as global citizens, focusing on the labour market and the wealth gap between the rich and the poor in Hong Kong, through using drama as pedagogy to incorporate Global Citizenship Education (GCE) in the junior secondary Life and Society curriculum of the applicant school. The project's tangible deliverables will include teaching kits comprising a project report with a handbook and a CD of lesson video.
The project aims at empowering the 4 learning habits of the 429 junior form students (S1 to S3 students) namely doing pre-lesson preparations, raising questions and searching for answers, reorganizing learning materials and consolidating learning materials through organizing a thinking and study skills programme (TSS) across the applicant school's junior curriculum. A teaching and learning package including a TSS student handbook and a teaching guide will be produced as the tangible deliverable.
The project aims at fostering the moral development of 600 students of the applicant school through applying comic creation in life education. Comic workshops, comic creation in Visual Art lessons, sharing of the professional artists, exhibition, etc, will be held in the project. A publication with selected teaching plans, records of the project activities and students' artworks will be the tangible deliverable.
The project aims at nurturing positive life values and attitudes of 660 students and teachers of the applicant school through implementing a school-based life education curriculum. Teacher training and parent training in life education will be organised with the assistance from the collaborating tertiary institute. The learning and teaching materials of the school-based life education curriculum will be the project deliverables.
