The project aims at developing about 80 kindergarten children's understanding of spoken language and text comprehension ability by implementing a reading programme in the applicant kindergarten which employs the “CROWD” and “PEER” reading strategies in the afternoon reading lessons. The learning and teaching resources developed is the deliverable of the project.
The project aims at developing about 40 kindergarten children's fine motor skills through enriching teachers' knowledge in designing appropriate fine motor exercises for young children and evaluating their motor development. A school-based curriculum for developing students' motor skills as well as the tool for evaluating children's development in this area will be developed in this project.
The project aims at catering for the learning needs of students including SEN students, by developing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform “Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS)” for the learning of Algebra in Mathematics.
The project aims at catering for the learning needs of about 40 P1 Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students and facilitating their Chinese learning through implementing a new Chinese character order of strokes (筆順) method. The resource materials developed and a DVD will be the deliverables of the project.
