The project aims at fostering positive emotion development of 120 S.1 to S.2 students of the collaborating school through developing a school-based training programme with the adoption of the theory of positive psychology. The tangible deliverables will be the learning and teaching materials available to the school and psychoeducation pamphlets on positive psychology.
The project aims at fostering children's social and affective development through drama education programmes and activities. 100 K2 children, 25-28 teachers and 300 parents of the applicant kindergarten will benefit from the project. Learning and teaching resources, DVD and booklets with lesson plans are the tangible deliverables.
The project aims at fostering children with positive life values and enhancing their whole person development through stories and drama education. 112 aged 2-6 children of the applicant kindergarten will benefit from the project.
The project aims at facilitating the self-understanding of about 380 S.1 to S.3 students of the applicant school and enhancing their self-confidence/ communication skills through organizing a school-based personal growth programme to these students. A teaching kit will be produced.
The project aims at facilitating the language development of 121 students of the applicant school aged from 2 to 6 through picture book reading and enhancing the professional capacity of 12 teachers of the school in adopting picture book teaching through organizing training sessions and conducting collaborative lesson planning/ review. The tangible deliverable will be a booklet introducing the project activities and featuring the experiences of the participating teachers.
