The project aims at enhancing students' learning in Liberal Studies (LS) and fostering their national identity and civic awareness through setting up a campus TV station.
The project aims at promoting life education focusing on instilling a positive attitude towards study so to enhance the learning motivation of the students of 4 primary schools through implementing an array of sports-related activities including sports-cum-life skills/study skills workshop/talk, day camping, sharing session with elite athletes, parents talk and teachers training etc.. A total of 400 copies of teaching materials on 'life education through sports' (「生命教育–運動遊戲策略」) will be produced as tangible deliverables.
The project aims at facilitating the learning of Chinese of 40 ethnic minority students (non-Chinese speaking school children) studying in 4 different kindergartens in Tin Shui Wai through organizing various activities including Chinese reading, writing, listening and speaking classes, parent workshops and teacher trainings etc.
The project aims at grooming the physical and mental health as well as raising the awareness of environmental protection of the applicant school's stakeholders and the nearby residents by installing a physical fitness centre (GYM-Nerator Center) at the school and conducting physical fitness tests for the teachers, students and parents.
The project aims at enhancing 180 students' language skills and generic skills and cultivating their reading habit through integrating drama education and thematic reading into the school-based Chinese Language curriculum. The project deliverables will include teaching materials of the curriculum, a publication of students' work and a video disc of students' drama performance.
