The project aims at promoting STEM education by developing a school-based STEM programme for junior secondary students. A theme of 'Live-friendly community' will be adopted and different L&T activities will be carried out to facilitate students to think about ways to improve the living of people in the community. The direct beneficiaries of the project include 132 S.3 students and 6 teachers.
The project aims at nurturing students' interest, creativity and problem-solving skills as well as strengthening teachers' professional capacity in implementing the school-based STEM education through establishing an “Innovative Learning Centre” for conducting STEM-related activities and teacher training.
The project aims at advancing the school-based STEAM education through establishing a Panoramic Interactive Education (PIE) Lab that promotes and supports the use of panoramic environment in learning and teaching in order to nurture students' creativity and facilitate knowledge transfer across subjects.
