The project aims at practising “Learning by doing” and facilitating the cooperation between different subjects through further developing the new school-based STEAM education programmes and renovating the D&T workshop to a “D&T room cum Maker Zone”.
The project aims at developing a school based junior secondary STEM education programme, arousing students' interest in learning STEM related subjects and enhancing their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills. Moreover, the project will enhance teachers' professional capacity in implementing STEM education through the teachers' development programmes. 120 students and 25 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the proposed activities. The project deliverables include learning and teaching resources.
The project aims at arousing students' learning interest, enhancing their concentration, motivation as well as skills of collaboration through implementing school-based e-learning programmes. It also promotes teachers' capabilities in implementing programmes related to IT in education.
The project is in line with The current policy and direction of The Education Bureau to promote and nurture healthy lifestyle of students. -IT helps students enhance hygiene awareness, build up positive habits and values through practice in authentic situations
The project aims at enhancing the learning and teaching of Visual Arts to further cultivate students’ creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills through strengthening the school-based Visual Arts curriculum.
