The project aims at promoting healthy lifestyle and enhancing the moral development of about 300 students in the applicant school through incorporating Chinese martial arts into the school-based curricula in the subjects of PE and civic education. No tangible deliverable will be produced.
The project aims at developing an inclusive learning culture and enhancing the language proficiency/ well-being/ understanding of Hong Kong of 300 S.1 to S.3 students of the applicant school who are mainly non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students and students newly arrived from China (NAC) through developing and implementing inclusive lessons (共融課). The tangible deliverables will be the teaching resources on the inclusive lessons.
The project aims at nurturing self-directed learning for children and enhancing teachers professional capability through the use of various teaching & learning strategies of "discovery learning", and raising parents' awareness on the importance of developing self-directed learning for their children. Publication containing lesson plans and project resources will be developed.
The proposal aims at building on the achievements of the applicant's previous QEF project (2010/0500) on provision of standardised sign language vocabulary, continue to conduct activities to enhance the quality of the learning & teaching (L&T) of the education programmes offered by the school to support students with hearing impairment (HI).
The project aims at developing science enrichment framework and materials for enhancing students' learning of General Studies (GS) as well as enhancing teachers' competence in teaching science in Primary 3 to 5.
