The project aims to promote student mental wellness in school through the provision of a series of support services for students to facilitate their understanding and management of self; regulating emotions; developing social and emotional skills; and building resilience in order to overcome difficulties and adversity in life. The project beneficiaries include S1-S6 students (mainly for S1-S3 students), parents and teachers. The deliverables will include 2-hour training for teachers/social workers each year, a set of reference material from the project and a collection of project activities (成果分享集).
The proposed project aims at promoting mental health awareness and enhancing teachers' and parents' understanding towards mental health awareness as well as their knowledge and skills in supporting children and positive communication strategies.
The project aims to make use of experiential learning and e-Learning platform to enhance students' understanding of the development of China and help them develop a sense of national identity. The project beneficiaries include S3 to S6 students. A set of Liberal Studies learning and teaching materials related to “Hong Kong Economics Development and Hong Kong and China integration” and “Traditional Chinese medicine and Modern Society” will be developed.
The project aims at developing a school-based “Maker Specialist Scheme” which infuses STEM learning elements into various subjects such as Science, Visual Art, Mathematics, D&T and Computer Literacy at junior secondary level as well as teaching senior secondary ICT students to develop a mobile application for the puropose of recording students' learning progress on STEM education.
The project aims at enhancing the perceptual motor / coordination skills, attention span, and learning effectiveness of the students with moderate intellectual disabilities and autism, through delivering perceptual motor / coordination training in the renovated activity training room.
