The project aims at enhancing students' understanding of positive psychology and formulating practical strategies to foster resilience in students and improve their sense of well-being through providing training activities for the Secondary 1 students from two secondary schools under the sponsorship of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. The project proposes to develop a resource package and organize a sharing seminar to disseminate good practices to other schools.
The project aims at providing pre-employment training programme for 60 Secondary 4 to 5 students with special educational needs (SEN) with a view to enhancing their attitude and skills through vocational training and promoting their self-confidence through practicum. It is proposed to develop a vocational training handbook for the SEN students, publish a collection of experiences and views of the students, parents, teachers and employers on the project, and organize a seminar to share experiences and practices.
The project aims at improving the school's administrative work and reducing teachers' workload by installing an attendance taking system, a fee-collection system and a back up support system.
The project aims at enhancing students' physical fitness, promoting weight management, healthy diet and positive life values among 754 P.1 to P.6 students of the applicant school through renovating the PE room, organizing physical fitness training, physical fitness test, science and sports activities, board display introducing London Olympic Games 2012. Seminars on healthy diet will be organized for teachers and parents. For tangible deliverable, the project will produce fitness training portfolios of individual students and students' projects on London Olympic Games 2012.
