The project aims at enhancing learning and teaching effectiveness, catering for learner diversity, strengthening students' language ability as well as fostering their multiple intelligence and generic skills through the establishment of a campus TV station.
The project aims at supporting three special schools in developing school-based Music curriculum for students with different grades (mild, moderate and severe) of Intellectual Disabilities (ID) from Primary to Senior Secondary Levels, so as to enhance teachers' subject knowledge and capacity in school-based Music curriculum development. Workshops and experience sharing forums are also proposed to be held for Music teachers of other special schools to strengthen teachers' mastery of Learning and Teaching (L&T) strategies in teaching students with ID in Hong Kong. 482 students and 36 teachers of the 3 participating schools will benefit from all the proposed activities. The project deliverables include four school-based music curriculum for the three participating schools, workshops and forum for music teachers of special schools.
The proposed project aims at promoting English writing competence of students from P4-P6 through self-regulated learning (SRL) with the use of read-to-write strategies and e-learning resources, enhancing teachers' professional development by setting up a community of practice (CoP) and conducting a research to examine the effectiveness of teaching reading and writing in an integrative fashion.
The project aims at promoting e-learning and self-directed learning through providing students' with the opportunities to make theme-based movies. The deliverables of the project will be the guidelines for self-directed learning.
