The proposed project aims at enhancing students' knowledge in Chinese History of the last 200 years and Culture, and developing students' responsibilities towards their motherland and critical thinking skills. About 10,000 secondary teachers and students will be benefited through talks, radio drama, workshops, postcard exhibition and trip to Taiwan. Learning resources and platform for learning Chinese History and Culture will be developed. The project deliverables include a e-book on Modern China from 1800-2000.
The project aims at fostering students' self-awareness and understanding of their personal aptitudes and potentials to pave the way forward for their career planning and other developments in further studies through implementing varieties of learning programmes and provision of career information to S.1 - S.6 students of two collaborating schools. Workshops on career planning will also be provided to parents to achieve the purpose.
The project aims at developing the curriculum resource materials for the English academic literacy developement of 60 S2 South Asian students to cater for their learning diversity, and faciliate the capacity building of 40 teachers of the collaborating school for cross-curricular collaboration to promote the English academic literacy development of South Aisan students. A multi-media curriculum resource package will be developed as the deliverable of the project.
The project aims at improving the school's administrative work and reducing teachers' workload by upgrading the intranet system, developing a mobile application and installing an attendance taking system, an e-portfolio system, a files storage system and library system.
