The project aims at cultivating students' interest and appreciation of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as well as enhancing students' generic skills, such as problem solving skills, communication skills, creativity and critical thinking skills through a robotics programme with a view to replacing the existing S.1 to S.2 Design and Technology (D&T) learning elements in the applicant school.
The project aims at broadening students' knowledge and other learning experiences, enhancing their interest in studying history, developing their generic skills and self-directed learning skills and strengthening the learning and teaching contents of the school-based S2 History and Culture through diversified learning activities such as site visits and enquiry-based learning activities, as well as making use of school-based e-Learning materials and e-Learning platform in this subject.
The project aims at improving the school's administrative work, reducing teachers' workload and enhancing teaching effectiveness by installing an integrated platform with email system, students' learning portfolios system, asset management system and sports day management system.
The project aims at catering for learner diversity, enhancing students' motivation in learning Chinese (Chin), English (Eng) and Mathematics (Math) as well as teachers' professional capacity and sharing by adopting the TARGET Model/approach in developing the P4 school-based curricula.
The proposed project aims at enhancing S.1 – S.6 students' interests and understanding in Biotechnology through carrying out in-vitro seed germination and propagation in Orchidaceae in the school. Deliverables of the project will be the learning and teaching materials developed and the DVD.
