The proposed project aims at enriching the school-based design and technology curriculum, arousing students' learning interest as well as enhancing their generic skills through conducting a series of learning activities and renovating the existing design and technology room.
The project aims at exploring and developing three active learning pedagogies to increase student engagement in learning Mathematics at secondary level by adapting existing or developing new mobile applications, and increasing students' overall learning outcomes in Mathematics through active learning. 3000 S1-3 students and 25 teachers from 5 participating schools will directly benefit from the project. The proposed deliverables include learning and teaching resources, e-learning platforms, a research paper and an online platform to promote active learning in secondary school Math/STEM education.
The project aims at enhancing students' self-directed learning abilities and cultivating their positive values through promoting reading across the curriculum under the related learning themes in the Chinese Language and General Studies curricula.
The project aims at enhancing learning and teaching effectiveness, students' multiple intelligences and generic skills as well as catering for learner diversity through the establishment of a campus TV station.
