The project aims at developing the knowledge and skills of enquiry study and 'broadcast' among 432 S3-5 students and 48 Liberal Studies teachers of the 24 schools participating in regional/community exploration activities such as briefing seminars and guided historical/cultural tours for the student teams, follow up workshops on supervisory skills in social survey for teacher mentors, workshops/competition on broadcast skills and enquiry studies for student teams and disseminating the competition entries in the form of publication/CDs.
The project aims at enhancing the leadership skills and school administration ability of subject and team leaders in primary schools through organizing training programmes for 30 subject panel heads, school consultation for 6 primary schools, school visits, sharing sessions, and developing intranet sharing platform. For tangible outcome, a booklet titled “提昇小學科組主任的領導力” will be produced.
The project aims at enhancing the language proficiency and interest in learning English of 240 P.2 students of two primary schools through teacher training and implementation of “Dialogic Reading Strategy” (DRS) classroom teaching. A manual and a website containing comprehensive information, methods and materials about DRS will be generated.
