The proposed project aims at mainstreaming “sustainability” into Hong Kong primary school's education environment with whole-school approach to(i) encourage positive changes in values, attitudes and behaviors of primary school students towards environmentally sustainable choices in their daily lives, through fun and school-based activities; (ii)to empower teachers and build up teachers' and schools' capacity to integrate sustainability into curriculum and schools' long term development; and (iii)to enhance inter-school collaboration and mutual support, through “peer-to-peer” school partnership between champion schools and sister schools. The number of beneficiaries will include 20,400 students and their teachers from 12 primary schools The project deliverables will include a learning and teaching manual “Best practices of Sustainability in Hong Kong Schools” .
The project aims at fostering students' self-directed learning attitudes, enhancing learning effectiveness and catering for learner diversity in Mathematics (Math) through the use of tablet PCs and e-resources.
The proposed project aims at helping kindergarten students cultivate good reading habits, enhance language ability, and develop sense of belonging to Hong Kong through reading various kinds of story books, visiting the cultural heritage of Hong Kong, appreciating drama, and making special snacks. No tangible deliverables will be developed in the project.
The project aims at enhancing students' learning effectiveness, promoting self-directed learning and catering for learner diversity through adopting “blended learning” and “flipped classroom” in S1 to S2 Geography (Geog) and Liberal Studies (LS).
The project aims at enhancing students' biliterate and trilingual skills and cultivating their creativity as well as nurturing their caring of others through the establishment of a campus TV station.
