The project aims at enhancing students' learning effectiveness in geometry and strengthening teachers' professionalism in e-learning by developing courseware with the free application GeoGebra and procuring a multi-functional learning and teaching system Mimio.
The project aims at cultivating healthy lifestyle among 250 P1 to P6 students, 20 teachers, 20 parents and the public through the promotion of rope skipping exercise. A series of rope skipping activities will be organized including a school team on rope skipping with advanced rope skipping classes, “One rope, one teacher and one pupil” programme and rope skipping performance in the community. The tangible deliverables will a DVD and a booklet on the skills of rope skipping.
The project aims at promoting the physical development of about 125 K.1 to K.3 students of the applicant school through organizing a lion dance (獅藝) programme in the school. 125 K.1 to K.3 students are the target beneficiaries. The tangible deliverables will be the learning and teaching materials to be produced.
The project aims at enhancing the reading interest and self-learning ability of about 80 P.1-6 students with moderate intellectual disability (MoID) at the applicant school through the use of specially adapted library books and electronic devices with diversified learning strategies. Major deliverables are 36 predictable picture books, music videos & karoke DVDs (for distribution to parents), books readable with the iPen, e-books and 72 library books for extended learning.
The project aims at nurturing children's positive values through drama activities. 90 K1 –K3 students, 10 teachers and 180 parents are the target beneficiaries. The project outcomes include teaching and learning resources.
