The proposed project aims at promoting students' mental wellness in school through the provision of a series of support services for students to facilitate their understanding and management of self; regulating emotions; developing social and emotional skills; and building resilience in order to overcome difficulties and adversity in life.
The proposed project aims at promoting mental health awareness and anti-stigmatisation; enhancing teachers' and parents' understanding towards mental health awareness; enhancing parents' knowledge and skills in supporting children in distress, as well as positive communication strategies.
The project aims to promote student mental wellness in school through the provision of a series of support services for students to facilitate their understanding and management of self; regulating emotions; developing social and emotional skills; and building resilience in order to overcome difficulties and adversity in life. The project beneficiaries include S1 to S6 students (mainly for S1 and S2 students), parents and teachers. The deliverables will include 2-hour training for teachers and social workers each year and a set of reference materials for the personal growth lessons.
