The proposed project aims at enhancing public awareness and understanding of youth suicide by establishing a surveillance and alert system for early alert and prevention as well as training and preparing teachers, peer leaders, parents and other school members to implement suicide prevention programmes and respond to the alerts timely.
The project aims at enhancing the well-being of teachers in Hong Kong through mindfulness training. Teachers of 8 primary schools will be the beneficiaries. Project deliverables are a mindfulness training package for teachers and a research manuscript.
The project aims at enhancing students' interest in STEM and providing opportunities for them to integrate and apply the knowledge and skills in STEM through setting up a Science and Technology Committee, creating a STEM-learning environment, developing school-based curriculum, as well as organizing diversified STEM learning activities.
The project aims at enhancing students' positive ego, resilience and skills for coping with challenges, with a view to promoting their mental well-being. The project beneficiaries include 360 S1-S3 students, 80 parents and 55 teachers. Learning and teaching materials will be produced.
The project aims at developing students' mental well-being as well as cultivating positive school climate through seminars and related activities for students, teachers and parents, etc. The deliverables of the project will be the learning and teaching materials.
