The project aims at improving learning and teaching effectiveness and nurturing students' multiple intelligence and generic skills through the establishment of a Campus TV station.
The project aims at enhancing students' knowledge about Body Mass Index (BMI), Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) and Functional Threshold Power (FTP), sports team members' performance as well as promoting healthy lifestyle and sports among the teachers through setting up a fitness centre under the proposed “Sports for All” initiative.
The project aims at developing the school-based STEM education to enhance students' interest in learning STEM-related subjects and to nurture their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills. 600 S1-S5 students, 8 teachers will benefit from the project activities. The deliverables proposed include learning and teaching materials and resources for STEM education as well as students' work.
The project aims at developing a junior secondary school-based STEM curriculum for motivating students to learn STEM-related subjects and cultivating their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills; enhancing teachers' competence in implementing STEM education; as well as converting the Multi-media Learning Centre (MMLC) into a “STEM 2.0 陳朱創科學堂" to create a learning environment conducive towards the implementation of the school-based STEM curriculum.
