The project aims at enhancing S.1 and S.2 students' interest and ability in writing as well as raising S.3 to S.5 students' oral communication skills in Chinese Language through implementing a formal Chinese Language writing curriculum and after-school classes for oral communication training respectively. The project deliverable will be the development of a set of learning and teaching resources on the Chinese Language writing curriculum 「中一至中二級寫作課堂設計及教材套」.
The project aims at enhancing the understanding of the heritage of the community and promoting the awareness of intangible cultural heritage among 300 students of the applicant school as well as 15,000 students from 18 participating schools through performing drama and organising local field trips with the aid of mobile application. The project deliverables will be the development of learning and teaching resources on the local field trip, the production of CD recording the drama performance and the mobile application on the cultural heritage of Cheung Chau as well as four public drama performances.
The project aims at enhancing the Chinese Language proficiency of 90 non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students of the applicant school through developing 5 different sets of school-based learning and teaching materials of Chinese Languages for NCS students with different abilities as the project deliverables.
The project aims at developing young children's musical creative and imaginative mind and enhancing KG teachers' professional capacity in implementing the Music curriculum in the applicant school. The project deliverables will be the production of a teacher training handbook on music teaching for kindergartens and a CD production recording children's creative musical pieces as well as the music learning activities.
The project aims to explore P.6 students' potentials in the development of critical thinking and English writing skills through persuasive writing. The project deliverables will be the development of a set of teaching and learning materials on teaching counter-argumentation for P.6 students and a knowledge platform for them.
