The proposed project aims at raising students' interests in STEAM, developing their creativity, collaborative and problem-solving skills through a school-based STEAM education programme and construction of a STEAM Room. 812 students and 65 teachers will benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverables include learning and teaching resources and students' work.
The project aims at nurturing students' creativity, collaboration skills and problem-solving skills through the enrichment of school-based General Studies curriculum with more hands-on activities for students to apply and integrate knowledge of STEM-related disciplines; and improving the school STEM-related facilities by converting a "Multi-media Laboratory" into a "STEM Room".
The project aims at arousing students' learning interest, enhancing their learning and emotional control through renovating the school's existing General Studies Room and Visual Arts Room as well as adopting e-learning and game-based learning approaches.
