The project aims at enhancing children's awareness, knowledge and attitude of sustainable development and poverty reduction through various activities. Around 100 students from K.1 – K.3 will benefit from the project. The tangible deliverable will be a booklet (成果分享冊).
The project aims at nurturing students with positive attitudes and 4 core values of moral development in Care, Responsibility, Integrity and Respect 「關愛」、「責任」、「誠信」及「尊重」through a wide range of learning activities in school and in the community. Primary 1 to Primary 6 students of six participating schools will benefit from the project. The tangible deliverables are publications and resource packages of the project.
The project aims at enhancing children's interest to explore the nature and their awareness of environmental protection through various authentic activities such as visits, outdoor drawing, parent-child experiential activity and teacher training workshop. 126 aged 2-6 children, 13 teachers and 250 parents of the applicant kindergarten are the target beneficiaries of the project.
The project aims at enhancing students' understanding on the culture of Mainland China and their national identity among 1000 P.1- P.6 students of the applicant school through cross curricula learning, a study trip to Xian for 36 students and various school-based activities. Publications and DVDs about the project and the study tour will be produced.
The project aims at promoting environmental education and enhancing learning motivation, generic skills, confidence as well as moral values among 50 Secondary 1-5 students of the applicant school through a study trip in Taiwan and project learning activities on waste management. The deliverables of the project include the learning and teaching resource package, DVD, students' reports, sharing and board exhibition of the tour.
