The project aims at arousing about 780 P.1-P.6 students' interest in science and technology, developing their enquiry learning skills as well as building General Studies teachers' capacity on STEM education through implementing a school-based General Studies curriculum with hands-on investigations (games and activities) incorporated in lessons and conducting professional training for teachers. The resource package which comprises lesson plans, inquiry learning activities with worksheets, as well as video recordings of General Studies lessons will be the deliverables of the project.
The project aims at integrating IT with learning and teaching strategies to cater for learner diversity and to promote self-directed learning in Junior English Language, and Life and Society.
The project aims at developing the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) of about 85 kindergarten students of the applicant school and enhancing teachers' knowledge and skills in improving the design and implementing the school-based language curriculum through organising professional training, coordinating collaborative lesson planning and conducting peer lesson observations. The deliverables of the project will be the learning and teaching materials.
The project aims at catering for learner diversity and enhancing students' self-directed learning ability through the implementation of “flipped classroom” and e-learning in Liberal Studies (LS).
