The project aims at developing students' Chinese literacy skills, cultivating their generic skills, self-directed learning skills and positive character qualities, as well as enhancing the smooth transition from kindergarten to primary school through organizing a school-based reading and writing programme.
The project aims at developing a school-based STEAM curriculum at the junior secondary level, cultivating students' creativity, collaborative and problem-solving skills and enhancing teachers' competence in implementing STEAM education.
The project aims at cultivating students' interest and knowledge in food science, food preparation and processing, as well as fashion design through refining the Technology and Living curriculum and providing better learning environment and facilities.
The project aims to formulate the school-based curriculum, in collaboration with the other two KGs under the same SSB, as well as to establish the multiple intelligences learning room, with a view to promoting the development of KG children's multiple intelligences, especially in the bodily-kinesthetic and interpersonal aspects. The project beneficiaries include 125 K1-K3 children from the applicant school as well as 255 children from other kindergartens. Also, 34 teachers and 150 parents are the project beneficiaries. The project deliverables include a learning and teaching package with picture books, lesson plans and relevant learning and teaching materials. A multiple intelligences learning room will be set up.
