The proposed project aims at helping 135 P4 students cultivate their interest and appreciation of Calligraphy through organising school-based Calligraphy lessons and parent-child workshop in collaboration with a Calligraphy instructor. The deliverables of the project will be (i) the learning and teaching materials of Calligraphy; (ii) teaching packages of Calligraphy; and (iii) students' work of Calligraphy.
The project aims at sustaining the impact of the previous project (2013/0089 Chinese History and Culture Academy:200 years of Modern China (1800-2000)) by deepening the cognition of primary and secondary students in Chinese History and Culture as well as Western Culture, and enhancing their interest in learning more about our country and sense of belonging to our motherland. It is estimated that about 6,600 teachers and students will benefit from the project activities. The project deliverables include e-book and apps for learning and teaching
The project aims at enhancing students' understanding on the development of Mainland China and their national identity among 700 S.1- S.6 students of the applicant school through a study trip to Gansu - Silk Road for 25 students and various school-based activities. The deliverables of the project include L&T resources, DVD, video clips, students' reports and board exhibition of the tour.
The project aims at enhancing students' co-construction of knowledge, improving students' motivation and catering for the learner diversity, by combining the idea of Flipped Classroom, collaborative learning and assessment for/as learning in Liberal Studies (LS).
The project aims at promoting self-directed learning and enhancing students' learning motivation, through developing flipped classroom and the using of the approach of visualization explicitly in teaching the sub-microscopic concepts in Chemistry.
