The project aims at enhancing about 120 Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students' four language skills of Chinese as well as catering for their learning diversity through adopting cross-curricular collaboration of teachers to design and implement a school-based drama in education curriculum in the applicant school. Drama teaching materials comprising lesson plans and worksheets as well as 8 performances of students will be the deliverables of the project.
The project aims at enhancing the learning interest and communication ability of about 80 Special Educational Needs (SEN) students of the applicant centre through producing and posting more visual aid cards and image indicators in the centre to facilitate young children to understand complex instructions and work procedures. Learning and teaching resource materials will be produced in the project.
The project aims at fostering students' spiritual development and promoting religious education through building a mural mosaic designed by students and enhancing the facilities of the prayer room of the school. About 30 students of the applicant school will directly benefit from the project. The tangible deliverable will be the production of the mural mosaic.
The project aims at enhancing the good health of 280 primary students of the applicant school through improving the school environment, developing short-distance running PE curriculum and organizing various related activities for students, parents and teachers. The tangible outcomes will be the running tracks and the developed PE curriculum.
The project aims at to enhance students' understanding of the Belt and Road Initiative, so as to deepen their awareness of the opportunities that such initiative has to offer and the challenges faced at the community, national and global levels. A resource package comprises of 8 lesson plans and relevant learning and teaching materials as well as a website will be developed in the project. 1800 S4 to S6 students and 90 teachers are the target beneficiaries.
