The project aims at developing a school-based junior secondary Mathematics curriculum, arousing students' interest in learning Mathematics and enhancing their self-learning, problem-solving and collaborative skills, as well as enhancing teachers' professional capacity through collaborative lesson preparation and lesson study.
The project aims at promoting and implementing STEM education and encouraging cross-curricula learning through organising a series of learning activities and establishing an Innovative Science Centre.
The project aims at implementing an extended school-based coding curriculum through robotic system, strengthening the students' skills in control technology, and further developing a stronger collaboration senses between groups. 320 students, 10 teachers and 600 parents will benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverables include learning and teaching materials, resource package and students' work.
The project aims at enhancing students' interests and ability in becoming 「市民植物普查員」and their awareness of environmental conservation through conducting statistical analyses and surveys regarding plants. The deliverables of the project will be the website, worksheets, e-book of Hong Kong Plants, etc.
