The project aims at alleviating the problem of obesity of 10 students of the applicant school through a school-based weight reduction programme. The tangible deliverable will be the video clips of the weight reduction process of individuals to be uploaded onto the website of Chinese University of Hong Kong and a publication with project highlights to be distributed to other schools in the same district.
The project aims at fostering the physcial development and whole language learning of 40 K.1-K.3 children through physcial exercises and activities. Pamphlets explaining the significance of physical play and providing information on physical activities for children and parents will be produced.
The project aims at nurturing in students the moral values and spirit of Francis Assisi as well as enhancing students' language ability through Cross Curriculum Learning and Moral Education with Musical Production. About 950 students of the applicant secondary schools will benefit from the project. Learning and teaching resources will be produced.
The project aims at equipping about 60 S4-S6 students' with knowledge and skills of electric work so as to develop their career aspiration in related areas, catering for the diverse needs of students as well as providing life planning education for students through implementing a school-based applied technology education programme in the applicant school. A school-based applied technology education curriculum together with the learning and teaching materials like scheme of work, worksheets, assessment tasks, as well as sharing seminars conducted by teachers, parents and students are the deliverables of the project.
The project aims at nurturing the quality of emphathy of students and their families through promoting the learning mode of inclusive school campus, so as to develop the social behaviour of altruism and provide professional support for schools to enhance the professional capacity of teachers. There will be 4 participating schools and about 400 students, 400 parents and 40 teachers will benefit from the project. An interactive learning and teaching package will be developed as the project deliverables.
