The project aims at developing school-based STEM education, stimulating students' interest in learning STEM related subjects and fostering their mathematical thinking, creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills; and enhancing teachers' professional capacity in students' “Design Thinking” and STEM education through teacher training activities.
The project aims to promote student mental wellness in school through the provision of a series of support services for students to facilitate their understanding and management of self; regulating emotions; developing social and emotional skills; and building resilience in order to overcome difficulties and adversity in life. The project beneficiaries include 1000 students, teachers and parents per school year. The deliverables will include a set of reference materials on developmental lessons for the primary intervention and the procedures for secondary intervention.
The project aims at enhancing the learning experience of students through upgrading the stage facilities by installing a LED display wall in the school hall. 780 students, 400 parents and 60 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverable includes the recordings of the students' performance.
The project aims at promoting paradigm shift for students' self-directed learning inside and out of the classrooms and unleashing the potential of mobile technologies in learning.
The project aim at enhancing STEM education through integrating the junior secondary Mathematics, Science and Computer Studies subjects and renovating the computer room into a "STEM PLUS laboratory". Students of the junior secondary forms will benefit direct. Project deliverables are the learning and teaching materials and works of students.
