The project aims at nurturing students' and teachers' awareness towards environmental protection and developing their green habits via a series of learning and teaching activities, such as hydroponic farming, writing activities on the growth of plants, green ambassadors and installation of solar recovery system in hydroponic farm. 750 P1-P6 students, 46 teachers, 1000 parents from the applicant school are the target beneficiaries. The project outcome includes a learning guide about service learning and hydroponic farming.
The project aims at enhancing about 20 kindergarten teachers' understanding about implementation of 'play-based strategy' in lessons as well as enriching their knowledge in designing different play activities in lessons to cater for the learning diversity of kindergarten children through organising professional development workshops and collaborative lesson planning meetings with consultant. The learning and teaching resource package and the parent-child play activities pack will be the tangible deliverables of the project.
The project aims at improving the school's administrative work and reducing teachers' workload so that the teachers could have enhanced capacity on improving learning and teaching by installing an attendance taking system, a fee collection system, a sale and inventory management system and a mobile application.
The proposed project aims at promoting the moral values of love and care for 78 kindergarten students through organising story-telling activities for students and training workshops for teachers. The deliverables of the project will be the (i) learning and teaching packages, and (ii) a booklet「 傳家故事集」to share with the community about the importance of care and love for family and elderly.
The project aims at tailoring the learning topics and content of moral and civic education (MCE) to the needs of students from South Asia in the partner school and enhancing the cultivation of respect, responsibility in students and sex education. 450 P1-P6 students, all teachers, parents from partner school (YAUMATI KAIFONG ASSOCIATION SCHOOL) and 300 schools that have South Asian ethnic students are the target beneficiaries. The project outcomes include bilingual learning and teaching resource packages and video clips.
