The project aims at strengthening students' resilience and enhancing teachers' and parents' abilities in supporting the mental well-being of students through organizing various universal preventive activities, class-based workshops, seminars/talks for teachers and parents, as well as identifying and providing support for those students with lower level of resilience.
The proposed project aims at arousing students' interest in STEM education through organising an investigative marine biology study programme with field studies, laboratory work and scientific investigations.
The project aims at enhancing students' English writing abilities in science subjects through conducting writing workshops using the genre-based pedagogical approach.
The project aims to promote student mental wellness in school through the provision of a series of support services for students to facilitate their understanding and management of self; regulating emotions; developing social and emotional skills; and building resilience in order to overcome difficulties and adversity in life. The project beneficiaries include 300 S1 to S6 students (mainly for S1, S2 and S4 students), teachers and parents. The deliverables will include teacher training and a set of reference material of the personal growth lessons.
