The project aims at enhancing students' positive ego, resilience and skills for coping with challenges, with a view to promoting their mental well-being. The project beneficiaries include 600 S1 to S3 students, 200 parents and 75 teachers.
The project aims at helping students build up their resilience to adversities through primary prevention and secondary intervention strategies as well as enhancing teachers' and parents' awareness of the mental well-being of the students through organising training workshops and talks.
The project aims at identifying and supporting lower form secondary school students with low level of resilence with the use of questionnaire survey. It will provide general preventive measures for all students to enhance their mental health and ability to handle adversities in life. Teachers and parents will also be provided training about students' resilence and counselling skills.
The project aims at conducting an early identification exercise among junior-form students to deliver support to those who are less resilient to adversities, as well as delivering primary prevention and secondary intervention services. The deliverables of the project will be the booklet.
The project aims at raising students' levels of resilience, and enhancing their awareness of their own emotions and skills to manage them through organizing various school-wide and form-based activities, workshops for teachers and parents, enhancing peer support networks, as well as identifying and providing support for students with lower levels of resilience.
