The project aims at promoting STEM education through developing the school-based STEM curriculum, organising related learning activities as well as enhancing teachers' professional capacity in implementing STEM education.
The project aims at developing a school-based junior secondary English curriculum with the elements of positive education and self-regulated learning incorporated. 490 students and 13 teachers will benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverables are learning and teaching materials.
The project aims at catering for learner diversity, enriching students' learning experiences and developing their multiple intelligences through the the promotion of Invitational Education (IE).
The project aims at cultivating students' exploring skills and encouraging self-directed learning through establishing the STEM room and renovating the Computer room with implementation of the school-based curriculum and STEM-related activities. It also aims at fostering teachers' professional capacity in implementing STEM education through organising a series of student learning activities and teacher development programmes.
The project aims at enriching the school's Visual Arts curriculum by enhancing the elements of information technology, and design in the curriculum so as to give student more opportunities to develop their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills and flexibly use technology to design new products. Moreover, the project will enhance teachers' professional capacity in implementing STEAM education through the teachers' development programmes. 700 students and 60 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverables include learning and teaching resources and students' work.
