The project aims at nurturing 520 Primary 3 to 6 students the awareness on and responsibility for environmental protection through construction of a farm, a study tour at Okinawa in Japan, training workshops and other related activities. The tangible deliverables include the farm, learning and teaching resources on values education and farming and videos on the learning process.
The project aims at nurturing 180 K2 and K3 children's interest in natural science and developing their curiosity, creativity and the spirit of exploration through visits to Solar Tower, artwork, experiments and parent-child activities. DVD and learning and teaching resources on the project are the tangible deliverables.
The project aims at nurturing 140 S.3 students with the knowledge and moral values of the traditional Chinese culture and developing their interest in reading Chinese classic literatures through an introductory study of Confucian Analects (論語). The tangible deliverables are the learning and teaching resources, teaching package and students' reflection articles.
The project aims at investigating the school's readiness for adopting the new mobile technologies in learning and teaching through a stock taking research.
The project aims at instilling positive values to students and enhancing their appreciation of Cantonese Opera through hiring an artist-in-residence and developing a school-based Visual Arts curriculum incorporated with Cantonese Opera learning. 440 S.1 to S.6 students of the applicant school will benefit from the project. The tangible deliverables will be the learning and teaching materials developed and a pamphlet collecting the educational outcomes.
