The project aims at promoting environmental education, widening students' exposure and developing positive values and attitudes among 35 Primary 6 students of the applicant school through a study trip in Taiwan and related activities. The deliverables of the project include the Taiwan tour, students' reports and articles, sharing and board exhibition of the tour.
The project aims at promoting a model of silent reading for provoking students to read in an enjoyable and extensive manner, and providing teacher development for inspiring teachers to become role model of silent reading, through the provision of a localized game-based learning platform “Bookstore of Tomorrow” and an online Reading Community of Tomorrow with inter-school sharing visits and experiences sharing among collaborating schools.
The project aims at procuring multiple IT devices to enhance the learning motiviation and self-directed learning ability of students with visual impairment, mild to severe mentally disabilities and physical disabilities.
The project aims at improving the learning attitude and enhancing the self-efficacy of about 80 S2-S4 students who have low motivation and poor academic performance through providing experiential learning opportunities for them to learn, design and make a sailing yacht model; as well as learn how to control and sail the yacht, try sailing in Hong Kong waters and design the sailing routes. The learning and teaching resources related to yacht model making and a logbook which records students' learning process will be the deliverables of the project.
