The project aims at developing school-based school STEM education in junior secondary levels to enhance students' scientific inquiry and innovative spirit, increase their interest, as well as cultivate their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills; and enhancing teachers' professional competence in STEM education.
The proposed project aims at developing STEM education, arousing students' learning interests and enhancing their generic skills through establishing an information technology centre, conducting teacher training programmes and a series of student learning activities.
The project aims at developing a school based junior secondary STEAM education programme, arousing students' interest in learning STEM related subjects and enhancing their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills. 205 students of the applicant school will benefit from the project activities. The proposed project deliverables include learning and teaching resources, a resource package and students' work.
