The project aims at enhancing kindergarten (KG) teachers' professional capacity of using the inquiry learning approach in designing and implementing school-based activities in teaching Chinese, English and Early Mathematics through conducting a 4-hour training programme which is open to all KG teachers, providing 55 teachers in 11 KGs with intensive professional coaching, arranging in-school sharing sessions for assistant/other teachers and disseminating the project deliverables/outcomes in a joint-school exhibition.
Cultivating a better understanding and respect for the Basic Law and the rule of law and human rights of the teachers and students of 8 secondary schools through teacher training developing school based teaching materials an action research and the setting up of a web-based resource centre
The project aims at improving the sensory motor skills of the students with moderate intellectual disability and with sensory processing difficulties in the applicant school through renovating and improving the facilities of the existing sensory integration training room and multiple sensory room as well as developing training manual and booklet for teachers and parents. About 140 students, 70 staff and 140 parents of the applicant school will benefit from the project. The tangible deliverables include the production of a teacher manual and booklet for parents.
The project aims at promoting students' whole-person development and nurturing students' positive values through the establishment of a campus TV station.
The project aims at motivating about 128 S3-S5 students to learn English vocabulary and grammar, as well as encouraging the active use of speaking and listening skills through organising online and face-to-face English school competitions for students in Hong Kong. The online quiz and the podcasts of inter-school quiz competitions will be the deliverables of the project.
