The project aims at developing electronic learning and teaching resources in New Senior Secondary (NSS) Economics and Physics curricula for students to facilitate their self-directed learning and revision as well as catering for learning diversity.
The project aims at promoting the learning and teaching of radioactivity education in 5 collaborating secondary schools through the implementation of an emulated radioactivity experiments and promoting wireless remote control and data processing technology by using smartphones and tablets for experimental education. Relevant experimental setups, electronic hardwares and teaching materials will be the project deliverables.
The project aims at enhancing and cultivating the generic skills and positive values among 50 selected P.4-6 students at the applicant school through developing and implementing a school-based 'pull-out' leadership programme ('抽離式資優領袖課程'). Tools for identifying gifted students in higher-order thinking skills, creativity, problem solving and leadership skills and resource package of the 'pull-out' leadership programme will be produced as the tangible deliverables.
The project aims at catering for the learning diversity among 200 S.4 students through implementing diversified mode of formative assessments (assessment for learning) in the Liberal Studies (LS) curriculum of the applicant school. A DVD containing 6 teaching sets with lesson plans and teaching materials and 2 assessment exercises will be produced as the tangible deliverables.
The project aims at enhancing the language proficiency of the 600 students (S1 to S5) of the applicant school through organizing drama-related activities including drama training course, drama performance appreciation and drama competition, and integrating drama into the S1 and S2 Chinese and English Language lessons. The S1 and S2 Chinese and English Language teaching materials/lesson plans with drama elements will be produced as the tangible deliverable.
