The project aims at building a Community of Practice (CoP) which promotes the use of cognitive tools and communication platforms in digital classrooms for Mathematics concept development by teachers in the senior primary school sector.
The project aims at arousing students' learning motivation and promoting collaborative learning to develop their communication skills, thinking skills and creativity; as well as enhancing teachers' leadership and promoting collaboration among teachers to address learner diversity.
The project aims at arousing students' interest in reading English materials and enhancing teachers' knowledge and skills in leading English learning activities through organising English reading-related learning activities and providing teachers with training workshops. 110 K.1 to K.3 students and 13 teachers of the applicant school will benefit from the project. The tangible deliverable will be the learning and teaching materials developed.
The project aims at arousing students' awareness of environmental protection and enhancing teachers' knowledge and skills in using recycled materials for creative art activities and encouraging parental involvement in creative arts activities with the use of recycled materials through devising creative art activities and project learning for students and organising workshops for teachers and parents. 168 students aged from 2 to 6, 50 teachers and 168 parents will benefit from the project. The tangible deliverable will be a booklet with collections of students' project learning.
The proposed project aims at arousing interests in reading, improving reading skills and enhancing self-directed learning ability of P1 to P3 students by using interactive reading materials.
