The project aims at developing a full-scale school-based STEM education at junior levels and a school-wide STEM society for all students, which will stimulate their interest in learning STEM-related subjects, foster their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills; and enhancing teachers' professional competence through STEM education activities.
The project aims at promoting self-directed learning, providing a platform for students to develop their potential and fostering a sense of belonging to the school. 1159 P1-6 students and 70 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the proposed project. The proposed deliverables include the “Multi-intelligence Independent Learning Centre” and students' work.
The project aims at improving the facilities of the covered playground to provide a multi-purpose venue for promoting students' participation in physical activities so as to build up active and healthy lifestyle. The multi-purpose venue would also provide a favourable environment and facilities for students' training and performance as well as conducting teacher training and support programmes for parents. 480 S1-6 students and 50 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the proposed project. The proposed deliverables include a teaching resource package and sharing of project outcomes by teachers and parents.
The project aims to promote e-learning through the procurement of the digital whiteboards. The project mainly targets around 660 P.3-P.6 students and 60 teachers.
The proposed project aims at enhancing students' interest in STEM-related subjects, fostering their creativity, collaborative learning ability and problem-solving skills as well as uplifting teachers' professional capacity in STEM education.
