The project aims at enhancing students' and teachers' knowledge and interest in astronomy, fostering students' generic skills and multi-intelligence and improving parent-child relationship as well as school-community cooperation by enhancing the astronomy facilities, organizing astronomy activities for the local community, training all the teachers as well as 25 student ambassodors and producing school-based GS teaching materials with astronomy elements.
The project aims at fostering correct life values and promoting healthy lifestyle among 290 P.1 to P.6 students of the applicant school through adding health-related topics in formal curriculum and holding educational activities such as drama, award scheme, carnival, etc. The health-related course materials will be the project deliverables.
The project aims at improving the school's administrative work and reducing teachers' workload by installing a smart card system with the functions of taking attendance and collecting fee payments as well as a door entry security system.
The project aims at enhancing students' technology education through conducting robot-making activities. It also aims to integrate project content (TE relevant) into the school-based General Studies curriculum, and conduct cross-curricular activities with Visual Arts and Computer Studies.
