The project aims at strengthening the severely intellectually disabled (SID) students' pre-learning abilities by exploiting their affective dimension of learning to promote their generic skills through the Interactive Sensory Program for Affective Learning (InSPAL) using the Smart Ambience Environment developed by the applicant organisation.
The project aims at arousing the interest in playing Bocce of students with intellectual disability (ID) and enhancing teachers' knowledge and teaching effectiveness in Bocce through developing a teaching package on Bocce.
The project aims at elevating 28 teachers' basic knowledge and teaching technique in Science Education and fostering about 430 preschoolers' interest and ability in science learning through enriching the applicant kindergarten's curriculum, providing teacher training and organizing relevant parent child activities. The learning materials related to Science Education for pre-school children are the deliverable of the project.
The project aims at arousing the interest in learning languages, both Chinese and English, of 30 P.4 to P.5 students with special education needs (SEN) and enhancing their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills as well as developing students' potential through organizing a variety of enhancement programme of literacy, training of attention span and socially acceptable behaviour as well as providing 2 parent seminars. For tangible outcome, a DVD recording the English drama performance and a booklet of Chinese composition will be produced.
The project aims at equipping 150 P.4 to P.6 students of 8 to 10 participating schools with knowledge and skills to resolve conflicts in a constructive and peaceful way through organize an eight-hour training, school based promotion activities and sharing session for students. For tangible deliverables, a “Peer Mediators Training Manual” for primary schools will be produced.
