The project aims at developing knowledge and experience in the 5 key areas of knowledge which includes Robotics and Electronics, Coding, Computer Aided Manufacturing Methods, Computer Aided Design Methods, and Product Design Methods. It also aims at training the teaching staff to be able to teach STEM education sustainably and develop knowledge, skills and teaching experience in the 5 key areas of knowledge mentioned above.
The proposed project aims at enhancing students' creativity and generic skills through conducting a series of student learning activities and establishing a “創意夢工場”.
The project aims at developing a school based primary STEM education programme, arousing students' interest in learning STEM related subjects and enhancing their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills. Moreover, the project will enhance teachers' professional capacity in implementing STEM education through the teachers' development programmes. 400 students, 800 parents and 30 teachers from the applicant school will benefit from the project activities. The proposed project deliverables include learning and teaching resources and students' work.
The project aims at creating an electronic campus environment where stakeholders can get access to different school information systems at ease to perform reading and self-learning activities. It is hoped that through the upgrading of the library's setting and facilities, students' level of information literacy as well as learning and teaching effectiveness could be enhanced.
The project aims at enhancing students' confidence, creativity and critical thinking skills through providing students with a stage for art performance and sharing activities.
