The project aims to nurture students' positive values and enhance their whole-person development through a series of reading activities and parent-child activities. About 300 P.1 to P.2 students, 600 parents and 57 teachers will be the direct beneficiaries.
The project aims at strengthening students' self-directed learning skills and enhancing English teachers' capacity in using IT in education through the adoption of flipped classroom approach and setting up an English self-directed learning (SDL) corner.
The project aims at enhancing students' motivation in learning English, providing authentic language exposure and consolidating their learning through watching and reading about English movies. About 330 P4 to P6 students and 13 teachers will be the direct beneficiaries. The project deliverables include school-based movie watching teaching plans and some lessons' recording as well as students' book reports.
The proposed project aims at promoting STEM education, enhancing students' scientific investigation skills and self-directed learning as well as catering for learner diversity through developing a school-based Life Science curriculum for S1-S2 and Biotechnology curriculum for S3-S5, setting up a scientific research laboratory, a Chinese medicine garden, and developing an e-learning platform (eCourse) and a mobile application (eLife).
