Development of Chinese Curriculum Leadership and Teacher Professional Learning Community for Teaching Non-Chinese speaking (NCS) Students (2021/22)

  • To support Participating Schools to develop the curriculum leadership in the learning and teaching of Chinese for NCS students with reference to the Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Framework and other resources;
  • To enhance the professional capacity of teachers in teaching Chinese for NCS students;
  • To develop appropriate learning and teaching materials, consolidate experience and establish the professional learning community of Chinese teachers of NCS students; and
  • To provide appropriate learning activities for NCS students so as to enhance their Chinese proficiency, assist them in understanding the Chinese culture and cope with different levels of public examinations.
