Practising STEM Education in General Studies to Enhance the Effectiveness of Students' Learning of Science, Technology and Mathematics (2020/21)
- To enhance teachers’ teaching skills of STEM education, e.g. prediction, inquiry, observation, conclusion and fair test;
- To facilitate teachers to design student learning portfolios so as to enhance the learning effectiveness of students in STEM education and to enhance students’ reflection and self-management skills using the learning portfolio as an assessment tool;
- To establish an interactive professional learning community that allows teachers’ mutual sharing of their experience of lesson design and teaching;
- To facilitate the consolidation and adaptation of the school-based General Studies curriculum in the Participating Schools.
